A brand launched in 2019 with the concept of something that will become your symbol, a keepsake, and something to be passed down.
The eyewear brand Yin Year aims to illuminate humanity by pushing the possibilities of the "tool" known as glasses to the limit, and to give you an identity that transcends even your non-glasses self by making glasses a part of you rather than just a decoration.
The brand name Yin Year is a combination of two words: Yin (shadow) and in year (growing older), which are the foundation of the brand.
The brand was named with the hope that it would "stay with you like a shadow and grow old together."
Made in Japan using celluloid, which is rare these days, it has a high-quality feel and a deep luster.
Yin Year has gained support in a unique way, and we look forward to seeing what happens next.
