The eyewear brand Yin Year aims to illuminate humanity by exploring the possibilities of glasses as a "tool" to the fullest extent, and to give you an identity that goes beyond what it would be like without glasses, by making them a part of you rather than just a decoration.
The brand name Yin Year is a combination of two words, Yin (shadow) and in year (adding years), which are the foundation of the brand.
The brand was named with the hope that it would "stay with you like a shadow and grow old together."
It is made domestically using celluloid, which is rare these days, so it has a high-quality feel and a deep luster.
