Founded in 2014 by Ahlem Manai Platt.

AHLEM is a French designer based in LA, who has experience working in apparel for brands such as Acne Studios and Miu Miu before moving into the world of eyewear, where functionality and fashion coexist.

AHLEM's approach to design is strongly influenced by the Bauhaus movement of the early 20th century, and aims to integrate art into everyday life, never being influenced by trends and always aiming for simple, comfortable, and beautiful designs.

AHLEM is a huge lover of Paris and is heavily inspired by its architecture and people, with its models named after neighborhoods and streets in the city.

The subtle and delicate details of this cutting-edge French brand combine her unique esprit with the relaxed atmosphere of LA.

The glasses are manufactured in the Jura region of France, famous for its eyeglass production, where each pair is carefully handcrafted by artisans.
