ブランドプロフィール

Kamemannen has been in business for over 100 years and is said to be the oldest eyewear brand in Japan.
The name comes from the proverb "A crane lives for a thousand years, a turtle lives for ten thousand years," reflecting the founder's strong desire to create a durable frame that could be used for a long time.
It has a long history, beginning with Kimura Seisakusho, a metal plating factory founded in Fukui City in 1917.
In 1945, after the war, the company began full-scale manufacturing and sales of its own product "Kamemannen," and is said to have been the first in Japan to release products bearing the name of an eyeglass brand.

All frames are manufactured in Sabae, Japan, which has led to the company's high level of craftsmanship becoming known around the world.
Kamemannen eyeglasses have a timeless and simple beauty. Even now, more than 100 years after the company was founded, the company continues to create products while adhering to the founder's vision.
