An eyewear brand launched in 2011 by Garrett Leight, whose father is Larry Leight, the founder of OLIVER PEOPLES.
After building his career at Oliver Peoples, in the fall of 2009 he opened his own select shop, "A.KINNEY COURT," in the Venice district of LA with a friend, selling glasses, clothes, shoes, CDs, etc.
Later, influenced and supported by his friends who were artists, musicians, and designers, he launched his own brand, GARRETT LEIGHT CALIFORNIA OPTICAL in 2011.
The designs are based on vintage frames and the collection is inspired by the people, city and history of Venice, LA.
