Item description

This remake of the 2024SS season model "Albedo" is based on a 1950s French vintage style, combining a lens shape somewhere between a Wellington and a crown panto with a horn rim. The rim has been redesigned to be slightly thicker, and the temples have a new design. The end piece is made of sun platinum, which has excellent molding precision, and is combined with an original crimped ornament that is completed through more than three times the usual pressing process. The sunglasses lenses are made of original CR39, with a 4-curve lens.

Brand

EYEVAN(JP)

EYEVAN was born in 1972 as Japan's first fashion eyewear brand under the concept of "glasses to wear."

The products, which were created with the aim of making them fun to wear as fashion items, caught the attention of people all over the world and began to be sold in the United States in 1985.

In 1989, the company signed a license agreement with Oliver Peoples to manufacture and sell glasses, and became well-known domestically.

After that, Ivan's development was temporarily suspended, but was revived in 2018.

Using antique eyewear as the design source, the design team of the time added their own aesthetic sense and sensibility to the beautiful handmade eyewear, which has created many enthusiasts around the world.
